THE PROJECT
JCC Film Club
Established in 2023 by JCC Prague in cooperation with the Israeli Film Festival KOLNOA, the Film Club offers curated screenings of Israeli and Jewish-themed films that are typically unavailable in Prague.
The project serves as a cultural platform for audiences to encounter diverse narratives and engage in reflection on identity, heritage, and community through cinema.
The Purpose
We believe in the power of film to open hearts and spark dialogue. Our club invites the public to explore Israeli and Jewish life through cinema, whether documentary or fiction, and to reflect on themes that matter to us as individuals and as a community.
Most screenings are followed by open conversation in a friendly atmosphere, and some feature guest speakers. Our mission is to create meaningful cultural encounters that are thoughtful, welcoming, and rooted in shared experience.
